As Wabi Sabi Yarns is a small operation dedicated to dyeing and shipping your yarn as quickly as possible, we must regrettably limit our email response. Please read through this FAQ page for all of the answers to your most common questions. Our email response is limited to those pertaining specifically to orders. Payments are processed using Paypal, a completely safe and secure service that allows you to pay using your bank account, paypal account, or major credit cards without the need to reveal your account numbers.
All orders shipping to Colorado will be charged 2.9% sales tax.
Items are generally shipped within 1 week from the time of purchase. Many times we ship much more quickly, but as we as we are a one-person operation, we can sometimes get backed up and shipping may take longer. If shipping is delayed we will keep you informed of your order’s progress. Thank you for your patience.
All shipping is handled by USPS mail. Please enter your shipping information to calculate rates.
Regarding customs fees, you will need to check with your local government for individual rates. We must declare the full amount of the purchase price on all customs forms. We do not have any control regarding how long your country holds the package in customs and kindly ask for your patience.
We apologize that we are unable to find the time to wind yarn into center pull balls. All yarn is shipped in skein form to aid in long-term yarn health.
We apologize that we are unable to combine multiple orders at this time nor refund shipping fees due to multiple transactions. Please checkout in one transaction whenever possible in order to save on shipping. Thank you.
If you are unhappy with your yarn or fiber, you may exchange or return it within 15 days of receipt. Please contact us via email for authorization prior to the exchange. Shipping fees are non-refundable. The item being shipped to you as an exchange is subject to shipping fees, unless the exchange is a result of our error. Refunds will be credited to the original form of payment. Please allow 7 to 10 days for processing. All returned items must be in 100% original condition with tags as originally shipped.

Presently, we are unable to accept custom dye requests.
Poppy Flower Fibers will be carried here on the Wabi Sabi Yarns website under the Wabi Sabi Yarns name. All spinning fiber and yarn items will be posted as they become available. Unfortunately, we are unable to predict when yarns/fibers will become available, so please check back frequently.
Yarn Color and Characteristics
Due to the organic process by which Wabi Sabi Yarns dyes, each skein is uniquely different. Yarn is photographed using professional full spectrum lighting, light balanced photography equipment, and then uploaded onto a calibrated monitor to ensure the utmost color accuracy. As each monitor is different, please note that the color of the yarn you receive may look different than the yarn viewed on your monitor.
When purchasing multiple skeins, we do our very best to select the closest matching skeins available for your project, however we cannot guarantee this is always possible depending on inventory.
You may occasionally encounter a knot in your skein. Knots are infrequent, but as they are a part of the yarn milling process you should be aware of the possibility and that it is completely normal.
Presently, we are unable to accept wholesale orders.
